Part # 75118 will not fit your 2006-2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara. I would recommend the Curt Class III Receiver Hitch, part # C13001. If you needing a wiring harness for trailer lighting, we offer the Curt Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # 56002.
I will provide links to the install instructions for both the hitch and the wiring harness. view full answer...
To add a hitch to your 2013 Suzui Grand Vitara you will want the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C13001. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Suzuki with included hardware. It looks like the hitch doesn't extend more than a couple of inches from your bumper and well underneath the spare tire.
You will want to use the Curt Ball Mount item # D-4 which measures 10-1/4" long. This will give you clearance from your spare tire and allow you to hook up your cargo trailer. You will also need... view full answer...
The Hollywood Racks SR2, # HRSR2, is designed to fit on vehicles with a rear mounted spare up to 12 inches wide as long as the vehicle does not have a center mounted back up camera on the spare. There are some vehicles this carrier will not fit but your Grand Vitara is not excluded which means it should fit just fine as long as you have the factory spare tire size and no back up camera. I have linked a video review of this rack for you.
We do have a few other spare tire mount bike racks... view full answer...
Yes, both of the mounting holes on the passenger side of the frame are used for the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75448. You will need to remove your tow hook for the installation of your receiver. Your 2012 Suzuki Grand Vitara should have weld nuts inside these holes as well as the 2 mounting holes on the drivers side. I have linked the installation instructions below as well so you can see the installation process. view full answer...
I have attached the installation instructions for the Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit, part # 521020-1B that is designed to fir your 2010 Suzuki Grand Vitara.
You can check out the instructions to see where the mounting holes are and if the intercooler you have installed would interfere with installation of the base plates.
If you find that you can install the base plates just let me know and I will make some recommendations for all of the components you need to flat tow your Suzuki. view full answer...
I reviewed an online edition of the owner's manual for the 2007 Suzuki Grand Vitara and on page 8-11 Suzuki indicates that the 2WD with automatic transmission can be dolly towed with the rear wheels on the dolly and the front wheels on the ground, and the key in the ACC position. Such an item is Roadmaster # RM-2050-1.
I strongly recommend checking your own printed manual in case it differs from this online copy. view full answer...
According to Curt, the fascia mounted license plate holder of your 2012 Grand Vitara will not interfere with the installation of the # C13001 Class III receiver. Fascia trimming is only required on Grand Vitara models that have the spare tire under the vehicle, not on the rear hatch.
If you were planning on using the hitch for towing purposes, you might need the following to complete your towing system:
Ball Mount, part # D-4
Hitch Pin and Clip, # PC3
Trailer Wiring Harness, part # 56002

The Roadmaster Sterling Tow Bar will work with both the direct connect and crossbar style base plate kits from Roadmaster. If you have the direct connect then you'd simply remove the crossbar and attach direct to the ears. If you have the crossbar style then you'd use the included crossbar with quick-disconnects. If you don't have the crossbar you can obtain this using the Replacement Quick Disconnect Crossbar Assembly part # 910021-00.

You should have no problem installing the Rhino-Rack Steel Mesh, Roof Mounted Cargo Tray # RPBS-S280 on your Thule square cross bars that have a Thule 38 inch Fairing # TH72WV installed on them.
The fairing should not give the rack an uneven look as the clips of the fairing are pretty thick.
However, what you could do is install a couple Replacement Load Bar Clip for Thule Roof Rack Fairings # 8537361 on the rear cross bar as well so that the # RPBS-S280 would sit as level as possible... view full answer...
The short answer is that the manufacturers usually will know and we update our fit guide as information comes in. For the 2013 Suzuki Grand Vitara (not XL7), I found that Curt does list trailer hitch # C13001 as a fit so you can use it on your 2013.
It gets a little more tricky with adding wiring to a vehicle. None of the manufacturers currently list a compatible trailer wiring harness for the 2013. In these cases we recommend checking a dealership to determine if they have a wiring option... view full answer...
You can take the wheels off of your bikes if you want to and then load the bike frames on a bike rack such as # HRSR1 on your 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara. It is likely not necessary on regular bikes though (but would be on a tandem) because the bikes won't stick out further than the mirrors. view full answer...
The TrailerMate custom wiring is set up as a combined wiring system, so it will use the main red lights on your vehicle for both brake lights and turn signals. You could think of this as being comparable to hard wiring with 4 diodes. This kit would allow you to have turn signals while towing the vehicle, but it will not use the separate turn signal bulb. The turn signals would work normally when you are not towing the 2009 Suzuki Grand Vitara.
If you do want the separate turn signal... view full answer...
For a 2 bike carrier to fit the rear of your 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara I recommend the Swagman Titan 2 Bike Rack for 1-1/4 inch and 2 inch Hitches, Tilting # S63400. This bike rack offers 11-1/4 inches of clearance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the foot of the carrier, and has 14-1/2 inches of clearance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the back of the upright bar.
This rack features anti-sway cradles to help prevent bike-to-bike contact during travel. Also included with... view full answer...
I compared all trailer hitches offered for the 2010 and 2006 model years of the Suzuki Grand Vitara to see if they are common fits. That will tell us if the two vehicles' frame mounting hole pattern is the same. Both vehicles' hitch fits are shown on the two linked pages included for you. The same four hitches, such as Draw-Tite 2-inch Class III hitch # 75448 and Curt hitch # C13001, all fit on both model years.
If you intend to move the hitch from one vehicle to the other you will need... view full answer...

The Swagman 2-Bike Rack, # S64650, has a measurement of 10-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the bike rack which is the wheel mount.
You will need to measure on your 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara to see if the bike rack will clear your spare tire. If you take a yardstick and hold it against the spare tire, straight up and down, and take the measurement from the center of your hitch pin hole on your hitch to the yardstick. If that measurement is less than... view full answer...
The Draw-Tite Class III Receiver can be installed by anyone with average mechanical ability. I will supply a link to the installation instructions below. If the installation is something you do not feel comfortable doing yourself, any trusted mechanic should be able to install it for you. The hitch itself is rated for 3500 lbs towing and 350 lbs of tongue weight (downward force) but the vehicle might have a lower capacity. In my research, I saw figures ranging from 1500 to 3300 lbs listed... view full answer...
We can help you with that!
In my research, I found that you are correct that your 2016 Thor Hurricane was built on a Ford F-53 Chassis.

Tekonsha P3 (# 90195)
Tekonsha Primus IQ (# TK90160)

So when it comes to measuring your rough-in for your toilet, you'll want to measure straight from the center of the flange on the floor to the wall.
If that measurement is less than 11", the Dometic 320 Full-Timer RV Toilet - Standard Height # DOM87FR will not fit.
If you do have an 8" rough-in, unfortunately the closest toilet we carry is the Dometic 300 Weekender RV Toilet - Standard Height # DOM74FR which has an 8-1/2" rough-in. view full answer...
To determine if the Thule Hitching Post Pro part # TH934XTR would fit your 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara you would need to just take one measurement.
You would need to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole out to the furthest point out on the rear bumper. If that distance is less than 13-1/2 inches the bike rack would fit and clear the spare.
I attached a review video for this rack for you to check out as well. view full answer...
